The film ‘House of Wax’ uses some brilliant camera angles; I am going to try applying theses skills to our opening scene. Our opening scene will be encouraged by this film in certain aspects.

Saul Bass is known as one of the best ever graphic designers for film, as he has created the credits and title sequences for various films but one of the most popular ones was Psycho of which he co-directed the shower scene.

Introduction: The A/S Coursework Brief

For this project I have decided to work with Sedat on the production of the Film Brief - to create an opening title sequence for a new fiction film of our choosing. Our initial thoughts in terms of genre were leaning towards 'THRILLER'. However we are eager to combine this with the 'Teen Movie' and possibly some Horror conventions and move away from traditional 'pure' thrillers into a more specific audience focused film.
